Côr Pawb Choir Leader
SPAN Arts is looking for a new choir leader to join our Cor Pawb project.
Côr Pawb translates as Everyone’s Choir and aims to be a community celebration, accessible, equitable, and life-affirming. People of all ages and abilities from across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion rehearse and then come together to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts. The mass choir is a statement of solidarity that shares its joy through performing at community events and concerts across the year.
We are ideally looking for a new male choir leader for gender diversity within the choir leading team, the new choir leader must be able to support the engagement of base and baritone choir participants!
- They must have an inclusive approach to teaching.
- Be able to teach by ear.
- Be comfortable working with singers of a wide range of experience including absolute beginners.
- Be able to teach unaccompanied.
Côr Pawb is not a standard choir with weekly sessions, rehearsals take place in the run-up to performances and tend to happen on Saturdays and Sundays as needed in Clunderwen.
If you are interested in putting yourself forward, please send some information about your experience and teaching style to Bethan Morgan at info@span-arts.org.uk
Côr Pawb is a SPAN Arts project and received support from the Ashley Family Foundation, The Colwinston Trust, and the Arts Council of Wales.
