We Move is a youth-led project for Black children and young people across West Wales to come together, connect, and make a positive change in the world through social action.

We invite you to be part of We Move, a vibrant, creative and community-rooted project that celebrates the voices, cultures and experiences of Global Majority families across West Wales.

Whether you’ve lived here all your life, recently moved to the area, or are somewhere in between, We Move is about creating safe, joyful spaces where people can come together, build connections, and feel seen and valued. Through inclusive arts activities, cultural exchange, and community events, the project aims to honour identity, nurture creativity, and amplify underrepresented voices in rural Wales.

If you’re a part of the global majority and have children who a part of the global majority and are looking to meet others, take part in workshops, storytelling sessions, shared meals, and family-friendly gatherings, or simply want to connect with a wider network of Global Majority communities in the area, we would love to hear from you.

The We Move project is co-led by Llwy Gariad Social Group and SPAN Arts, with generous support from BBC Children in Need’s We Move Fund, which champions equity and belonging through the power of creativity.
